I would like to exercise my legal right under S 405 of the Education Act 1996 to withdraw my child(ren) (son/daughter as preferred) from Sex Education classes in your school as follows:

In this I am also exercising my right under the Human Rights Act 1998 Protocol 1, Article 2 that states:
ARTICLE 2
In the exercise of any functions which it assumes in relation to education and to teaching, the State shall respect the right of parents to ensure such education and teaching in conformity with their own religious and philosophical convictions.
(optional for those of a faith) In this I am also asking the school to respect my religion which is a protected characteristic of the Equality Act 2010 and ensures a person of religious faith is not to suffer discrimination.
