State-promoted ideological indoctrination
In a speech at the LGBT Pride reception at Downing Street on July 3rd, Prime Minister Theresa May proudly announced, ‘We will continue our investment in programmes to tackle homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in schools, protecting LGBT students and making acceptance and understanding the default.’ She went on to say, ‘A country that works for everyone is a country where nobody faces bigotry or violence because of who they are.’
Well, we have news for Mrs May: this is not a country that works for everyone. At least, not if you’re socially ‘conservative’ or Christian, because in the UK today such people are facing unacceptable levels of bigotry and violence from LGBTQ and transgender activists, who appear to think that by labelling as ‘hate speech!’ any views that call into question their rebranded, 21st century view of morality, they can say and do whatever they want. Which includes bullying, intimidation, harassment, and even physical assault of those they brand opponents of ‘inclusivity’.
Theresa May, however, appears to have swallowed hook, line and sinker all of the LGBT propaganda alleging relentless discrimination and bullying, and clearly wants to take it a lot further. On the same day as the Pride reception in Downing Street, the Government launched a consultation into reform of the Gender Recognition Act 2004 – with the stated aim of helping transgender people who want legal recognition, but have so far not applied because they find the current process too bureaucratic, expensive and intrusive (https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/reform-of-the-gender-recognition-act-2004 ).
To spell it out, they are consulting over implementation of gender self-identification, with the goal of eliminating any and all need for medical oversight.
Will this help spread LGBTQ ideology, restricting freedom of speech and furthering the ideological indoctrination of children? Too right it will!
Allowing transgender people to self-identify without any kind of supporting medical evidence can only progress the relentless drive to normalise what up to now, with good reason, has been labelled aberrant behaviour. But of more concern to the greater mass of the population, and especially parents, should be the fact that children as young as 4 are now being taught that biology is irrelevant – literally a non-binding accident of birth – and that ‘gender’ is a choice. While any expressions of parental disquiet or dissent at such sexual brainwashing are increasingly being branded hate speech – and may well result in a report to the appropriate ‘safeguarding’ agency (see the transgender toolkit developed by Stonewall and recently introduced into schools in the Vale of Glamorgan http://www.valeofglamorgan.gov.uk/Documents/_Committee%20Reports/Cabinet/2018/18-04-30/Appendicies/Trans-Appendix-A.pdf).
Parents should be not just concerned, but alarmed. Very alarmed. The views of a minority are being imposed on the whole of society, with the aberrant ideology of sexual unorthodoxy being enforced as ‘the new truth’, from which non-conformists deviate at their peril! Make no mistake, this is what Theresa May wants to enforce. This is what she is endorsing.
And what chance do children have in all of this? By definition, they lack understanding and experience and so have no frame of reference to judge the validity of what they are being taught. Indeed, they look up to their teachers as the fount of all wisdom and knowledge – so why would they question them? We are truly breeding a generation for whom the state of being male, female, or anything else that can be imagined, will be one of life’s unavoidable ‘choices’– with all the psychological and emotional problems that will inevitably result from embracing an ideology of confusion that rejects reality.
According to statistics, 10% of children between the age of 5-16 already have a diagnosable mental illness (https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/statistics/mental-health-statistics-children-and-young-people). Following the State’s imposition of its pseudo-sexual ideology, this can surely only get worse.
