The new 30 hours of free childcare is available and half of the eligible parents have signed up. 30 hours seems like a lot of time for a toddler to spend in the care of other adults. One friend said she didn’t have her children just to fill up a nursery, and it seems as though lots of private nurseries are struggling financially because they can’t meet the 30 hours of provision. Is it a good idea to offer what is pretty much full time nursery care?
